Welcome to Jar of Edmonds. By purchasing our products at food festivals, markets, or directly from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. General Terms
By purchasing from Jar of Edmonds, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or guardian. You agree to purchase our products only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
2. Products and Services
All products sold by Jar of Edmonds are handcrafted food products intended for consumption. We take pride in the quality and freshness of our products, which are made with care for your enjoyment.
We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse service, or decline sales at our discretion, including cases where we have concerns about product availability or customer conduct.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in British Pounds (GBP) and are subject to change without notice. Prices displayed at food festivals, markets, or in-person sales are final at the time of purchase.
We accept cash and card payments. By providing payment, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
4. Collection and Pickup
We do not offer shipping or delivery services. All products must be collected in person at the time of purchase from:
- Food festivals and markets where we are trading
- Direct sales at our approved locations
- Pre-arranged pickup locations (if applicable)
Products are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot guarantee availability of specific items, especially at busy events.
5. Pre-Orders and Reservations
If we offer pre-orders or reservations for collection at events, payment must be made in advance. Pre-ordered items must be collected at the agreed time and location. Failure to collect pre-ordered items may result in forfeiture of payment.
6. Returns and Refunds
Due to the nature of our handcrafted food products, we cannot accept returns once products have been collected and taken away.
Refunds or replacements will only be provided if:
- The product is defective or damaged at the time of collection
- You received the wrong product
- There is a food safety concern
Please inspect your purchase before leaving our stall or collection point. If there is an issue, notify us immediately so we can resolve it on the spot.
7. Food Safety and Allergens
We take food safety seriously. All products are prepared in accordance with UK food safety regulations. However, our products may contain or come into contact with common allergens including nuts, dairy, gluten, and other ingredients.
It is your responsibility to ask about ingredients and allergens before purchasing. We will provide ingredient information upon request, but we cannot guarantee that our products are free from cross-contamination.
If you have severe allergies or dietary restrictions, please speak with us before purchasing.
8. Product Consumption and Storage
Our products are handcrafted and should be consumed within the recommended timeframe provided at the time of purchase. Please follow any storage instructions given to ensure freshness and quality.
Jar of Edmonds is not liable for any issues arising from improper storage or consumption of products after collection.
9. Limitation of Liability
Jar of Edmonds and its owners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or consumption of our products, except where required by law.
Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question.
10. Intellectual Property
All branding, recipes, and product names associated with Jar of Edmonds are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our branding without written permission.
11. Privacy
If you provide us with personal information (such as for pre-orders or marketing), we will handle it in accordance with UK data protection laws. We will not share your information with third parties without your consent.
12. Event-Specific Terms
When purchasing at food festivals or markets, you also agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the event organizers. Jar of Edmonds is not responsible for event cancellations, changes, or access issues.
13. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated revision date. Continued purchases after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
